The purpose of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee is to continue to support the region's mobility needs, the adequacy of available resources to address those needs, and strategic efforts to increase funding for surface transportation. More specifically, the Transportation Committee promotes the "Annual Fly-In Pancake Breakfast" at Mid-Way Regional Airport and supports a community transit service, the operation and development of the Mid-Way Regional Airport, and the Trans-Texas Corridor under the direction of the Texas Department of Transportation.
