Coordinate the annual Candlelight Home Tour keeping the Chamber membership abreast of all activities. |
Chamber Ambassadors
Responsible along with Chamber Staff for programs such as: grand openings and recognition programs
for Ambassadors. Assist in Membership Drives to reach annual goals and retention of current members. |

Report on a monthly basis economic development activity for the city. Meet with prospects and
protect the overall city image along 287 & I-35E. |

Host a spring golf outing for the Chamber, meeting the fundraising goal. |
Homebuilders
Promote quality housing for citizens in Waxahachie and Ellis County. |

Keep Waxahachie Beautiful
Promote beautification efforts throughout Waxahachie by participating in Adopt-A-Street, the
annual Trash Off, recycling, and encouraging renovation of historical districts. |
Leadership Waxahachie
Provide an annual forum each fall to educate, prepare, and enable leaders in the community. |

Plan for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound regional
development throughout the legislative year. |
Membership Networking
Create networking opportunities for members and encourage attendance to Chamber events. |

Partners in Education
Continue the volunteer program between local business and industry and the Waxahachie ISD regarding all educational programs including: mentor program, Job Shadowing, DEAR Day, and Teacher of the Year Award. |
Shop Waxahachie
Work in conjunction with the City of Waxahachie and Downtown Merchants Association to promote the sale of Waxahachie Bucks and encourage residents to shop locally. |

Coordinate the Annual Texas Country Reporter Festival working in conjunction with the Downtown Merchants and Phillips Production Company. |
Transportation
Continue to support the region’s mobility needs, the adequacy of available resources to address those needs and strategic efforts to increase funding for surface transportation. |
