ABOUT THE CHAMBER Program of Work: Legislation
The 79th Legislature will be a very important session for Waxahachie and Ellis County. Transportation initiatives, education, and community development will be high on the agenda. Planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound regional development will be key in this legislative year. The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, established to assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound mutual development.
