ABOUT THE CHAMBER Program of Work: Crime Prevention Council
The Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization whose members work to reduce crime in the city by providing a hotline and rewards for the anonymous reporting of crime tips that help local police in their investigations. Waxahachie Crime Stoppers offers education, training and research sources for law enforcement agencies as well as the general public. Membership is composed of local citizens and businesses that contribute their dues to support the organization's directive. Volunteer opportunities are also available, and membership contributions are tax-deductible. Stopping crime is the responsibility of every citizen. We welcome you to join the Waxahachie Crime Stoppers and help us help you fight crime! National Night Out (NNO), is a unique crime and drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), and is held annually in Waxahachie with the cooperation of the Waxahachie Police Department and local volunteers.
