A community campaign that encourages local shopping during the Holiday Season.
How Does It Work? Waxahachie Bucks are purchased at face value (or at a 5% discount for purchases above $500) and redeemable at all participating businesses. The businesses benefit from significant widely-circulated advertising and promotions for 12 weeks. In addition to the advertising, 8 weekly drawings are held to give away Waxahachie Bucks to both a lucky entrant ($250 Bucks) and the shop in which they entered ($100 Bucks). Bucks offer flexibility in where a gift certificate can be redeemed and make great corporate gifts. Each year, more than $25,000 in Bucks were purchased and redeemed with approximately 24 businesses participating!
Where Can I Purchase Bucks? Bucks (in $10 increments) will be available for sale at the City of Waxahachie, the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce, and Citizens National Bank of Texas.
